Hi,my name is Kensey and I am a Female German Shepherd. I was brought to the Shelter for several reasons–I needed more space to run and play and my family couldn’t afford to keep me any more, but they loved me enough to bring me here to find a good forever home. When you come to meet me, I may be a little skiddish during the first few minutes but do not read that to mean I am aggressive. I am just timid and shy at first. My spirit is loving; I truly am a loving girl who enjoys playing, especially playing hide and seek. I am good with other dogs and cats. You will find me to be a smart girl who knows how to walk on a leash and will sit, sit up, lay down, and speak on command. I love to sleep with you in the big bed and I am also crate trained. I am also house trained and good when left at home alone. Come by and see me and see if I am the right companion for you.

my husband and i would like to put a hold on kensey. we will be at your doors monday. we lost our beloved mayday, the day before labor day. mayday came from your shelter 12 years ago, what a crazy well loved dog. we have been searching for the right dog to fit us, we miss her and love having a big dog most of all our cat harley and little dog billy miss her. all our pets are rescues.after reading about kensey it sounds like she was placed there for us. we have our own home with a good amount of property in port orange,our vet is dr. rudinski, he comes to your home, he also works the clinic on 92.it seems fitting if we could get kensey from your place, being as our mayday, she was a old english sheepdog came from southeast humane also. by the way we named her mayday because we adoped her in may and we she needed saving. please call 386341944 if you get to this before monday, thanks for saving lives keep doing it. mike and patti manos
