Hi, my name is Midnight which is a fitting name with my shiny black coat. I am a one year old male Retriever Mix. I have been at the Shelter since November 12, 2011. I don’t know why I’m here. I got lost and no one came to find me. If I bark at you when you approach my cage, it’s because this whole place is new to me and I’m a little frightened on the inside. When you get me out on a leash, you will find what a truly sweet nature I really have. I am a sweet, loving little boy who is very playful; I still have a lot of playful puppy in me at a year old. I know how to play with toys and how to sit on command. You will find me alert and ready to learn all the things it takes to make me a great companion.
